Jim Liberty started Liberty Motorsports in 1986 in Up-State New York. Our outside services were mostly aiding insurance companies with evaluations and repair estimates. My first restoration was a 1955 Speedster that won many first place awards on the concourse circuit. Including a First Place at the 1986 Portland PCA Parade. Thanks to my daughter Rachelle, fifteen at the time. She detailed the bottom of the car on her back.
In the early 2000's I moved the shop to Costa Mesa, CA and still operate here. We do no customer work anymore. We now restore one car a year for sale when complete. See our " CURRENT INVENTORY" for current listings. All work is to National/International Concourse standards, our most recent restoration won First Place at Amelia Island in 2018. Our cars are not just "Pretty Faces" they are mechanically restored to the highest quality and all work is done on site. Nothing but the best in both technical expertise, workmanship, and the highest quality parts.
