This early 912 is a three (3) gauge car with 43,600 miles shown. The Mileage is not verified, but based on the condition of the car, I believe it to be correct. Refurbished in 2011, including repaint, leather interior, brakes,suspension, fuel system, windshield. Stored in 2013 until purchased by Liberty Motorsports in 2025. Subsequent to my purchase, after a ten (10) year storage, I have performed the following:
- Steam cleaned the bottom and running gear
- Dry Ice cleaned the engine and transmission
- Added Porsche Cibie Rally driving lights, color matched to the car
- Cleaned and refurbished the gauges
- Added HEUER rally dash clocks
- New OPTIMA battery, with charging connections, and charger
- New vintage 912 push button radio with speakers
- Central FIRE system, cockpit actuated
Due to age and long term storage - I replaced steering shaft rubber coupler, torsion bar bushings, brake light switch, head gasket set, rear flywheel seal, gland nut, front crank pulley seal, powder coat engine tin, oil canister lines, reseal transmission front cover gasket and shift rod seal side diff. seals, new axles, front KONI inserts, rear KONI shocks, inner and outer front wheel bearings/seals, engine mounts, shift rod bushing.
This car has been my weekend driver for the past year. It is one of the nicest driving Porsche's I have ever owned.
